Simone Tedeschi

Simone Tedeschi was formerly part of the Global Capital Markets group at Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong. In this role, Simone originated, structured and executed cross border Asia-Europe strategic equity transactions, OTC equity derivatives and convertible bonds trades for clients in Asia. Simone had quite extensive client coverage experiences with family run large public conglomerates, financial institutions and entrepreneurs mainly in Hong Kong, China and Korea.
Prior to his move to Hong Kong, Simone was a member of the Global Structured Product at Morgan Stanley in London. In that capacity, he structured, originated and traded tax related principal investment transactions for the proprietary book of the bank: Simone managed trading positions of up to US$2Bn, which were part of a global book of up to US$23Bn at the end of 2007.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Simone worked at Lazard in Italy as part of the M&A Structuring Team where he was involved in the restructuring of a leading fashion house and a listed tour operator. Prior to joining Lazard, Simone worked as a corporate lawyer at Allen & Overy in Milan and Linklaters in London for nearly 5 years (practising both UK and Italian law). During that period, Simone consulted for Studio Vitali, Romagnoli and Associati (which is the corporate finance/tax advisory firm founded by the current Italian Minister of Finance Prof. Tremonti) in a number of tax and other corporate law related matters.
Simone received a J.D (cum laude) in 1998, qualified as an Italian lawyer in 2000, as a Solicitor with the court of England and Wales in 2002, and obtained an MBA from the Bocconi School of Management in 2003.
